Monthly Active Referrals Explained
Monthly Active Referrals Explained
Updated over 8 months ago

Monthly Active Referrals (MAR) is the total number of active referrals during your billing cycle.

Each plan comes with a MAR limit and you're charged for any additional active referrals over your plan's limit. See pricing page for more details on the limits and pricing.

How are active referrals calculated?

A referral is "active" if it includes any of the following events: new referral, updated referral, or has a referral action.

Referrals are either active or inactive, so even if a referral has multiple events during the month it only counts as a single active referral.

Why do you charge for active referrals?

Active referrals are the best value metric of a referral program. Usage-based pricing is an important part of our business model and one of the ways we can charge such competitive rates.

All plans come with a limit that resets each month and we only charge for active referrals above that limit.

Do you offer unlimited referrals?

We only offer unlimited referrals to our Enterprise customers. Please contact us if you'd like to talk with a sales rep and get a quote for Enterprise pricing.

Do active referral counts reset each month?

Yes, active referral counts reset each month on the day of your billing cycle. There is no rollover for unused active referrals.

What am I billed for?

You're only billed for the additional active referrals over your monthly limit

What if there is an error?

If you feel there is an error in your billing, please reach out to us as we are happy to complete an audit and will correct your bill.
