Inside of Referral Rock, referrals can be Pending, Qualified, Approved, or Denied.

All referrals enter Referral Rock as a Pending referral, however not every status needs to be used.

We recommend that customers choose to line up the referral statuses with their sales process as well as when they will be issuing rewards.

Most commonly, customers issue rewards on the Approved status. However, you may set your rewards to trigger based on any of the statuses inside of Referral Rock, with the exception of Denied.

An example sales process lined up with Referral Rock's statuses:

  1. A new lead submits their information and they become a referral = Pending Status

  2. The lead meets with a sales representative at your company = Qualified Status

  3. The lead becomes a customer = Approved status
